This song may be beautiful, but I hate everything it stands for. It represents the death of my country for me. Gorbachev can shove his wind of change up his ass. Perestroika killed everything. Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if the August Coup was successful... I was only a kid then but I was in front of the Parliament building when the tanks rolled into Moscow in 1991... Maybe we should have simply stood aside. I still can't forgive the man, even though he admitted it was a mistake.
