I don't think he resents them because they are dirty or not funny. I think he resents, as most old school comedians do, because they are easy. Like he said "to tell a clean joke and get laughs, that takes a comedian". They think it cheapens the art of comedy when the word fuck is every punchline. That's just my take because I've heard other comedians talk about the subject in that light and I do agree with them. It cheapens it, not because it's dirty, but because it's easy.

I actually disagree. It's pure hypocrisy he advocates. I do agree that 90% of sexual jokes are not funny (American pie is dreadful), but there are good ones. And sorry, but if you tell different jokes in mixed company, than you would tell only to men or only to women, you overslept for about one century.Anything(...), but mindless good taste.
