This is just as funny today as it was back then. Pulled off to perfection by Kaufmann & Lawler. You never forget an Andy Kaufmann performance.

Andy Kaufman allegedly told many people including Bob Zmuda — that he wished to fake his own death prior to his actual death.A screenplay Kaufman was working on at the time of his death was about a character who claimed to have lung cancer and faked his own death.Kaufman's sister commented after his death that she found many odd things, including the doctor who diagnosed him with cancer had been wearing tennis shoes, sparking debate if Kaufman had paid off an actor friend to pose as a doctor.
