Apple does not produce everything. They use nVidia and ATI graphics cards, Intel Processors, Realtek sound cards, etc. They just assemble them in the way to work best with Mac OS X. That's one thing. Second, going to Keys879. Well. It all starts somewhere, and at least Apple started with a vision, and they still continue with that.

This video cracks me up every time I watch it. I don't care if it's true or false.. it's still funny either way.Oh and Yoshinatsu; Apple only makes products because of the money. There is no corporation out there that would still exist today if there was no money involved. Apple not excluded. Steve is just as greedy as the rest of them.. and just as every bit a douche on the inside. (i'm not saying he's a bad guy... but he is a CEO. you have to be a bit of a douche to be a CEO)

Then you did not know the first thing about software maintenance. I have a PC at home that is very old(also have new ones but talking about my old one for now) that has not had a BSOD in over 4 years. This is a 23/7 run machine running XP. Know why? Because you can go to start\ right click my computer, go to manage and then show all the errors that have occurred on that machine. From that you can debug what went wrong and fix it, simple as that.

ORLY? and what about the brand spanking new hardware that comes out every day? I dont know about you but I upgrade my PC every 6 months. This is done very easily and also cheaply. Is this possible with a Mac? Having one company produce every part is not always the greatest of ideas because when the research/production team gets their limited funds they usually have 1 thing to dedicate it to. So a company that produces only graphics cards has the upper hand vs a company that produces everything.

lol! Shining example of a mac user here.
yoshinatsu (December 31, 1969 at 5:59 pm)
No, don't see it that way. It's for the sake of absolute compatibility, and that's why Mac OS X is the best of the 3.Because both the OS and the hardware is made from the same company. Mac computers are developed with OS X in mind, and OS X is developed with Mac computers in mind. They're the perfect match. That's Mac computers score better in performance and reliability than PCs that are assembled from different pieces of hardware.

I agree with you, they make great products for the sake of great products. I actually prefer my Mac over my Linux or Windows machine. Its easy to use, it looks great and it never breaks. I just feel that restricting your operating system to only hardware you supply is a little fascist.

nice now u forgot to mention how many times a pc crashes cuz b4 i owned this 24" imac about 6 months ago i have never crashed or had a virus or froze NOTHING this guy has no idea what he is saying.i had a pc do u know how many times i got the blue screen of death OMG like a millionmac is 1,000,000,000,000,000 times better than a pc

I just hate the way you see it, that's all.Apple has proven, for more than 30 years now, that they're one of the few companies in the world that actually make products not just for money, and what you say makes it feel like they're like Microsoft, or any other cheap ass company. They're not fascists. They always wanted support from third-party companies, but they didn't have much, that's all. |
