this is truely an ingenious device. Who need a slow geared driven motor when you can use gravity and no mechanical parts to wear out or fail. great.

No filtering yet! It is only 2 weeks old, I put it on utube almost as soon as i thought of it because I think it will be really useful to many many people. It could cheaply do the tracking for solar panels, solar box cookers and solar parabolics. And my other tracker system (that i havnt made) is better!

Ingenious adaptation of a water clock as a control mechanism. Do you have any problems with wind-born debris, or did you slip a bit of filtering into the pipe intake?
